Photo Essay
After talking with Wendy Torley, the owner of the Jewelery Spa at the Heritage Mall, she invited me to do my photo essay on a client getting a sternum piercing. On May 25th, I spend some time with Wendy and her client Amy Easton while they both prepared. Amy was quite nervous the whole time, from some of the expressions on her face you could tell it was a bit painful. But I am so grateful that she let me in to document the whole process. The whole process from sterilizing the room to the finish product takes about 15 - 20 minutes. The great thing about Wendy is that she uses the new products and gets the piercings herself, that way she can personally relate to the clients experience.
